Foundation of Certified Credit Counselor Education’s online course is provided in segments to enhance content retention of course content. The certification is very user-friendly and is not timed. The Final exam consists of 100 questions with a Certification being issued when you score 80% or higher questions answered correctly. You will have 2 hours to complete the final exam, so be sure to take your time. Once you have completed the final exam with a passing grade you will be able to print and save the Certificate and will be a Certified Credit Counselor. This Certification is valid for 2 years. After the two years, you will want to retake the course and pass the final exam to become certified again.
Individual Certification
if you are an individual taking this course you can simply go to the home page and sign-up for the course. The fee for the course is $220. If you do not pass the first Final Exam you will have to pay $150 to retake a Final exam. Each subsequent failure will result in the same retake fee.
Group Certification
If you are part of a Credit Counseling Organization or if you are the administrator of a credit counseling organization you may want to consider our group certification rates. Not only will you receive a discount per certification but you will also be able to register your staff for the class, track your staff progress, date or certification completion, and receive emails to your administrative email 30 days before your staff need recertification. This makes the certification process easier and more efficient for everyone. In order to utilize the group certification rate you will need to have at least 5 staff members who need certification.
